It has been awhile...

I am honestly sorry I haven't been blog updating! I usually love to write, but lately I've been in a rut when it comes to writing, but I am determined to change that!

Live in our family has been crazy as usual! But, we love crazy so it has been fun! Since I last blogged, Stetson and Kylee got married and moved to Utah, Jordan and Melissa had their beautiful little girl Hallie, Parker received his mission call to the Ghana, Cape Coast Mission, Parker has left on his mission and is now halfway across the world! Tevin and I moved into the house we are house sitting for the next year and a half, Hillary is ENGAGED to Spencer, and my belly is much bigger than normal! Intense amount of info? Haha, don't worry, there will not be a quiz at the end of the post!

Truly, although we feel like we have been busy with work and school on top of everything else, we are blessed! I could go on and on about all of our blessings, and we are SO grateful for them. We know Heavenly Father loves us and is watching out for us!

Slowly, but surely we are getting our nursery put together! Last week we purchased a crib, mattress, and a car seat/stroller combo (all at the same store - Tevin was pushing this huge cart- it was cute!) We haven't set anything up yet, but that is what the weekend is for! :) I would have already done it myself but what fun would it be to do alone?! We LOVE the weekends, especially Sundays! That is when we get to see each other for more than an hour or two a day. Between school and work Tev is never home! :( Now, I am scared to be home alone for a long period of time, but more than that I feel bad for him! He works so hard for our little family!!

10 weeks!! Yep! 10 weeks and we get to meet our little girl! Oh! We are so excited! January 24th is the day! I'm almost to nine months, whew! It has been quite the ride and I can only imagine that last part gets more crazy! I have tried from the very beginning to not complain about being pregnant, you know the morning sickness, the weight gain, back aches, and huge belly? Yeah, I've tried no to complain about that because I couldn't be more grateful that Heavenly Father is sending one of his sweet spirits to earth for us to raise. Nevertheless, I am only human and some days when it really gets to me I've been known to whine a little, mostly to Tevin. What an AMAZING man! I love him! Hands down, every single time I am sick or tired or whiny he wraps his arms around me to tell me how much he loves me. He is also always willing to help me in whatever way he can! He also says that I'm not allowed to say "I'm fat." Apparently, I'm not fat, I'm just pregnant. Haha, he is so sweet! I'm lucky that he is on this fun adventure called life with me!

We picked a name for her. But.... I'm not going to reveal it yet! Hehe.

Ok, after like a novel of updates, here are just a few pictures of our life lately!

Saying good-bye to Park at the airport!

Day 1

A picture of myself and how my day has been….. well it is eight o’clock in the morning so I don’t have much to say about how my day has been, but I can write about how yesterday was. Yesterday was a pretty decent day, I went to class and work and all was normal and nothing out of the ordinary. I met my older brother in the crossroads for lunch and I tried to help him study for his anatomy test. I probably didn’t help him very much because I couldn’t pronounce any of the words right! Haha. After I got home from campus I did some homework… it was a little boring. And then we went to the midnight showing of Harry Potter! Did I fall asleep? Yes, but not for a very long time, so I think I was able to get a lot from the movie still. I went with some of my roommates, fhe brothers, and my actual brothers. I also went with one of my favorite people… his name is Tevin. He is pretty fantastic and I absolutely love all the time I get to spend with him! He makes me laugh more than anyone else! I like him! His younger sister Hillary also came and at midnight it was her birthday and that was fun! Hillary is also pretty dang awesome! She is always so sweet to me and I’m glad that I’ve been able to get to know her better. Waking up this morning was a little difficult because I was so tired, but I am awake and in class right now!
As for the picture of me, this picture is of me and my mom. I love her!!

Anyway, day 1 = done!

Alicia's Socks

If I were to write a blog about my best friends, it would a LONG, entertaining, emotional and maybe inspiring post. Mostly because I have had some crazy adventures with those closest to me. My very best friends can be counted on one hand and they include Alicia, Sum and my mom. But today I can't write forever about all three of them so I am going to write a little about Alicia. Why? Well because there is a substantial amount that I can write. You could say we have been through it all. Well, we haven't, we are both pretty young and hopefully our friendship will endure much more than it already has.
Alica and I have been friends since seventh grade. TEN whole years! That is a long time to have a best friend, right? I think so. We have had sleepovers, watched movies, gone running, attended family reunions, doubled on dates, cried to each other, carried a bed spread back from Target on a scooter, made wedding cakes, argued, taken pictures, danced like crazy people, watched each other play softball or talk in church. We have also had a BAJILLION more adventures, there are just too many to count. And now? We are roommates in good ole' Rexburg. Life is good here in #113. We all get along pretty well and we are learning from each other every day. Now, Alicia and I remain best friends. Our relationship has changed over the years. Changed? Why that can't be good! Wrong! Our friendship is only better. Whether or not we have the same last name of our family trees say we are not in the same family... we are. She is as much a part of my family to me as any of my brothers. She is always there when I need her and she drives me nuts sometimes just like my brothers do. BUT, I would NOT be the same person I am today without her influence in my life. Along with others, she has helped shape me into the person that I hope to one day become. Her love for life and desire to accomplish anything she believes in has inspired me to do a lot in my life. She is a dear friend and always will be.
Alicia is doing her student-teaching next semester and this is the last time we will ever live together. We are both growing up and we are soon going to have to TRY and be adults. That is okay because she is my best friend and I know she will ALWAYS be there for me and I hop she feels the same way in return.
Now, you may be wondering what inspired this post? Well, I asked Alicia what I should blog about today. She told me her socks.
